December Campout

Posted on Nov 20 2016 - 5:05pm

Hello Troop 457 Campers!

  • Our December Camp out will be Fri 12/9 to Sun 12/11 at Camp Stonehaven. We have Cabin #2 which holds 24 people.
  • The big plan is working on Rank Advancement for those Scouts that aren't First Class yet. Senior Scout help with this is happily accepted!
  • We'll be cooking by Patrol again for you creative cooks as well. Do any Scouts feel like stepping up for a Dutch Oven Throw Down Challenge?
  • Pass any fun ideas for the weekend to your Scout Leadership.
  • For any questions, feel free to ask me at any meeting, by phone or e-mail.
  • Please fill out and return the permission slip to me if you plan on attending.

Thanks, YIS, Mr Endres

Advancement Reminders

Posted on Nov 9 2016 - 7:40am
Hi Scouts: As we start our new scouting year, I'd like to take this opportunity to explain to new scouts and remind old scouts your accomplishments in scouting are yours and you can be proud:) I know it takes hard work to complete any rank requirements and merit badges so you deserve  the proper recognition at Court of Honor. To make sure your achievements are documented into our computer system:

Eagle Proj TY

Posted on Nov 9 2016 - 7:39am

I would like to thank everyone that came out to Calvary Church during the bills game to participate in my eagle project. We successfully removed many bushes and moved most of the dirt across the courtyard. The church members attending were very impressed with the hard work of the scouts. I will need a little help Friday after school to finish moving dirt. Thank you again for making this a successful project. Ethan
